Top 10 Biggest Yachts In Dubai

Located on the shore of the Arabian Gulf, at the crossroads of Europe, Asia, and Africa, Dubai is the ultimate jet setter destination. The luxury and opulence on offer in this world city are unrivaled anywhere on earth. 

Located on the shore of the Arabian Sea, Dubai is the perfect place to see some of the world’s most luxurious super yachts. Here is a list of some of the biggest and most opulent examples regularly spotted here. Most of them are owned by:

  2. Qatari Royalty
  3. Saudi Royalty
  4. Omani Royalty
  5. Other extremely wealthy individuals


Azzam is 600 million dollar yacht constructed in 2013 for Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahya, the current president of the United Arab Emirates. It is currently the second-largest motor yacht in the world. It was constructed in Bremen over a span of three years.

The yacht Dubai is the personal yacht of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the ruler of the city of Dubai. At 162 meters long, it is the third-longest yacht in the world. It is capable of accommodating 115 guests. It costs 400 million US dollars to build and was completed in 2006.

Al Said

Al Said is the personal yacht of Sultan Qaboos of Oman, the absolute monarch of that country. The yacht is often seen in Dubai, as its owner enjoys the finer things in life. Completed in 2007, the cost of construction is unknown, but Al Said is in the world’s top-five by various measures, including displacement, power, and length.

Prince Abdulaziz

At 147 meters long, Prince Abdulaziz is one of the longest yachts in the world. It belongs to the Saudi royal family and is a regular visitor to Dubai. Construction was completed in 1984. It has a crew of about 65 and can accommodate a similar number of guests.

Topaz is owned by Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, an Emirati official, and a member of the royal house of Abu Dhabi. Built by the same company as the largest yacht above, Azzam, Topaz was launched in 2012 at a cost of around 530 million US dollars. It features two helicopter pads.

Yas is owned by another Emirati royal and high government official, Hamdan bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. Originally launched as a frigate of the Royal Dutch Navy in 1978, she was decommissioned in 1998 and sold to the UAE. Given her unique history, the total cost of construction is hard to quantify.

Al Salamah

Al Salamah was the property of the now passed Crown Prince Sultan of Saudi Arabia. At 139 meters, it was the largest motor yacht in the world when launched in 1999. Among the amenities aboard Al Salamah are a library and a fully equipped hospital

Originally built for a Russian vodka oligarch, Serene is currently owned by Mohammad Bin Salman, the current crown prince of Saudi Arabia. It was launched in 2011 with a length of 134 meters. The crown prince bought the vessel on a whim while on vacation on the French Riviera for a cool 500 million US dollars. The vessel has been leased by Bill Gates for 5 million a week.

Al Mirqab

Al Mirqab belongs to Qatari high official Hamad bin Jassim bin Jaber Al Thani. It was launched in 2008 with a length of 133 meters. It takes a crew of 55 and can accommodate 25 passengers.

Al Lusail

Al Lusail is owned by the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. At a mere 123 meters, it is only the 26th longest motor yacht in the world. It features a helicopter pad, a swimming pool, and a cinema.
